About me...

0 min read
My name is Lisa Ashurst. I am a journalist and freelance writer and I love being a columnist which I am at the moment. I do a weekly column for the Monaro Post, an independant newspaper based in Cooma NSW, Australia. I really love to write. I found my niche in humour which means I can see the funny side of just about anything I guess. But recently I started up my own business doing book editing but I'll edit any written work and I proof read as well. Hope this little business takes off. I love Deviantart! See ya... Lisa

hi mum its keith. add me.
Hey Piper :)
I'm gonna check out your stuff very soon, I'm a little busy now, but you got top priority in my books :)
Hey to you too Owenicus!

This is the first chance I've had to get back on again - I've been doing some content writing for the web for a media company in Sydney and they're sending me stuff weekly now. It's pretty good work if you can get it.
They like my column too which is why they started giving me the work! Thanks for the nice things you say about my writing - it's good to know that people get a laugh out of it.
I recently put some non-humour stuff. I had a go at writing a short story with a twist called The Diner. It takes me a bit longer to write non-funny stuff so it's a good exercise!

See ya...Piper
hehehe humour writing is very much a strength for you, but I'd be interested to read something non-humourous, but only because I believe your writing to be top notch :D
Just make sure you don't lose your grip on your funny bone, eh? :D
See ya around mate... Owe
